Marker Insert
Drop the same clip at every marker: a whoosh, a title, a graphic or a video.
Choose a Media Pool clip and a marker colour. The clip is placed at every matching marker on a brand-new track, so your existing tracks are never touched.
What it does for you
- Place a sound effect, title, graphic or video at every marker.
- A frame offset lets the clip land a few frames before or after each marker.
- Always uses a new track, so your edit stays as it is.
Requirements
- DaVinci Resolve Studio 19.1 or newer (the free version of Resolve blocks script windows).
- Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel). One file works on both.
- Install: copy the .lua file into Resolve's Scripts/Utility folder, then open it from Workspace > Scripts.
- Tested in DaVinci Resolve Studio 21 on Windows 11. The script also runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon); if anything does not work on your Mac, email support and you get a fix or a refund.

Place a clip at every marker
How to use it
Mark the moments with markers of one colour.
Choose Audio, Video, Graphics or All to filter the Media Pool list.
Pick the marker colour and, if needed, a frame offset.
Select the clip, click Preview, then Place Clip.
Important notes
Audio goes to a new audio track, video and graphics to a new video track.
A negative offset places the clip earlier, for example to let a whoosh lead into the cut.
