Resolve Automator
Five repeatable Resolve workflows for timelines, screenshots, markers, overlays, and exports.
A multi-tool automation suite with preview-first actions for repetitive timeline renaming, marker screenshots, media insertion, track overlays, and batch exports.
What it does for you
- Timeline Renamer: duplicate and rename timelines for language versions.
- Screenshots: export a still at every marker, named after the marker.
- Marker Insert: drop a title, graphic or sound at every marker on its own track.
- Track Overlay: put an adjustment clip above every shot, cut for cut.
- Batch Export: queue many timelines with one render preset.
Requirements
- DaVinci Resolve Studio 19.1 or newer (the free version of Resolve blocks script windows).
- Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel). One file works on both.
- Install: copy the .lua file into Resolve's Scripts/Utility folder, then open it from Workspace > Scripts.
- Tested in DaVinci Resolve Studio 21 on Windows 11. The script also runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon); if anything does not work on your Mac, email support and you get a fix or a refund.
