Comments to Resolve Markers
Paste timestamped review comments and convert them into Resolve timeline markers.
Parse one review comment per line, preview the result, and create point or duration markers on the current timeline.
What it does for you
- Paste client notes with timecodes and get one marker per note.
- Ranges (00:08 - 00:12) become duration markers, single times become point markers.
- Preview exactly where each note lands before adding.
Requirements
- DaVinci Resolve Studio 19.1 or newer (the free version of Resolve blocks script windows).
- Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel). One file works on both.
- Install: copy the .lua file into Resolve's Scripts/Utility folder, then open it from Workspace > Scripts.
- Tested in DaVinci Resolve Studio 21 on Windows 11. The script also runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon); if anything does not work on your Mac, email support and you get a fix or a refund.
