Caption Titler
Build styled, animated Text+ captions from subtitles using your own title template.
Pick a Fusion title template from the Media Pool and an SRT file or the timeline subtitle track. Caption Titler places one Text+ clip per line with your template, its animation included, timed exactly to the subtitles.
What it does for you
- Styled, animated captions for social, from any subtitle file.
- Uses your own Fusion title template, so every caption matches your look.
- One Text+ clip per line, timed to the frame.
Requirements
- DaVinci Resolve Studio 19.1 or newer (the free version of Resolve blocks script windows).
- Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel). One file works on both.
- Install: copy the .lua file into Resolve's Scripts/Utility folder, then open it from Workspace > Scripts.
- Tested in DaVinci Resolve Studio 21 on Windows 11. The script also runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon); if anything does not work on your Mac, email support and you get a fix or a refund.
